NLS Nürburgring Langstrecken-Series Teams Information and Data
The Nürburgring Longstrecken-Serie (NLS) is the most iconic endurance series on the Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit. Throughout the year, it brings together a large number of professional, factory, and private teams competing in a wide variety of classes, from powerful GT3 (SP9) cars, to race prepared production vehicles. Below are some of the main teams participating in this competition.
NLS TEMAS

Falken Motorsports

History & background:
Falken Motorsports represents the sports division of the Japanese tire brand Sumitomo. They began racing on the Nordschleife in the early 2000s and has since gained immense popularity for its unique and recognizable blue and green liveries.
Data:
It’s one of the few teams in the world that develops its tires directly in competition. It often fields two Porsches in each race and is a prominent participant in the Nürburgring 24 Hours.

Manthey Racing (Manthey EMA)

Founded by Olaf Manthey in 1996, the team has established itself as the absolute benchmark for Porsche on the Nordschleife. Since 2023, it has competed as Manthey EMA following a partnership with the Australian team EMA Motorsport.

Its most common nickname is the “Grello”, due to the mix of green and yellow colors of its cars.

Phoenix Racing was founded in 1999 and has become a giant in European motorsport. Since 2023, the team has operated under the name Scherer Sport, while maintaining the same structure and professionalism.

Frikadelli Racing is one of the most beloved teams in the paddock. Its founder, Sabine Schmitz, was a Nürburgring icon. In 2023, they made history by winning the Nürburgring 24h with Ferrari, becoming the first team to do so with this brand.

The name “Frikadelli” comes from the German dish frikadelle, referring to the team’s informal, family-oriented spirit.

TF Tourist days "Touristenfahrten"
Throughout the year, the Nürburgring offers multiple “Touristenfahrten” dates, where the circuit is open to the public. On these days, you can take a Ring Taxi or even bring your own car (if it meets the regulations).
It’s important to check the circuit’s official calendar, as dates vary depending on the season and scheduled events. Public access days allow you to experience the circuit’s true atmosphere: a mix of amateurs, professionals, and enthusiasts of all kinds.
